Drag to draw a line and your text flows along it. Spiral it, wrap it behind the subject, or erase the overlap.

A free, in-browser tool to draw text along any path you trace with your cursor — or along ready-made shapes like a heart, arc, circle, wave or full-frame spiral. Put the text behind the subject, erase any overlap, pick a font, color and outline, then export as JPG or PNG with no signup.

1. Upload a photo — Drag a photo into the editor or pick one from your device. JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC up to 20 MB are supported.
2. Type your text — Enter the text you want and choose a font, size, color and outline in the side panel.
3. Draw or pick a shape — In Draw mode, drag across the photo and your text follows the line. In Shapes mode, tap a heart, arc, circle, wave — or a full-frame spiral, waves, serpentine or rings — and drag it into place.
4. Send it behind the subject — Turn on Text behind subject to remove the background and slip the text behind the person. Full-frame fill shapes enable this automatically.
5. Erase and download — Use the Eraser to wipe any text that overlaps a face or edge, then click Save to export a high-resolution JPG or transparent PNG.

Is the draw-with-text tool free?

Yes. It runs in your browser with no signup and no watermark. Background removal for the behind-subject effect has a small free daily allowance; drawing, shapes, fonts, the eraser and export are unlimited on the free tier.

How does text follow the line I draw?

As you drag, the tool measures the path you trace and places each letter along it, rotated to match the curve — so the text bends with your line.

How do I put text behind a person?

Turn on Text behind subject. The tool removes the background to get a cut-out of the person, then layers your text between the photo and the cut-out so it passes behind them. Adding a full-frame fill shape (spiral, waves, rings) turns this on automatically.

How do I make the spiral text effect?

In Shapes mode, open the Fill the photo row and tap Big spiral. It wraps many loops across the whole frame and auto-enables behind-subject, giving the text-spiraling-around-a-person look.

Can I erase part of the text?

Yes. Switch to the Eraser tab, set the brush size, and scrub over the letters you want gone. It erases only the text — the photo and the cut-out subject are untouched. Undo restores it.

What shapes can I use?

Heart, arc up, arc down, circle, wave, curve, star, diamond, triangle, infinity and spiral — plus full-frame Big spiral, Big waves, Serpentine and Concentric rings that wrap the whole photo.

Does it keep transparency?

Yes. If your photo is a PNG with transparency, the export stays a PNG so the transparent areas are preserved.
